Here are some of my likes and some prompts. The prompts aren’t meant to be constraining. If something in my likes (or even something that’s not in either my likes or DNWs) inspires you, feel free to write that instead. Thank you so much for whatever you write for me! Prompts:

 

The Shannara Chronicles

 

Note: I ship Wil/Eretria/Amberle, but I’m also a multishipper, so there’s no need for you to write it if you don’t want to and most of my prompts will assume it’s not a thing. I also don’t much care how you work around it – never met AUs, leaving people in the background, etc. One thing I ask, though, is that you stay away from things like Amberle and Eretria having a “who needs Wil when we have each other” type conversation or Amberle rejecting Eretria and/or Wil because she’s dating OFC.

 

Amberle/Eretria

 

Smut where Amberle accepts Eretria’s advances at Pykon. She can still hesitate, if you want - maybe she’s worried Eretria just wants the experience of fucking an elf or maybe it’s her first time with another woman.

 

Post-season one, Eretria returns to Arborlon to see Amberle as the Ellcrys. Maybe something kind of angsty, where she thinks she’ll be saying goodbye to Amberle, but then Amberle speaks to her telepathically and is like “we can still be girlfriends”.

 

Canon-divergence where Amberle is taken to Utopia instead of Eretria.

 

Amberle doesn’t need to become the Ellcrys AU. Maybe Amberle runs away for some other reason and gets captured/enslaved by the rovers, and Eretria gradually starts to get over her dislike of elves through empathizing with how Amberle is mistreated until they eventually escape together. Maybe the rovers raid some elf town and when they get arrested and brought to Arborlon, Eretria tells Amberle a sob story about she never actually wanted to be a rover hoping the princess will release her out of pity. It works and she stays in Arborlon because despite everything she’s been taught about elves Amberle’s treated her better than anyone else ever has. Maybe a role swap AU where Eretria’s a princess of a human city and Amberle’s the elf equivalent of a rover or where they’re both princesses or both commoners.

 

Amberle/Original Female Character

 

For this ship, I’m mainly looking for an Amberle doesn’t need to become the Ellcrys AU that somehow incorporates Amberle’s status as a princess. Beyond that, I’m not really picky, but here’s some ideas I had:

 

OFC lives in one of the villages out by the Wilderun. When the king (any of the Elessedil men can be king, do what makes sense for your AU, this goes for all the prompts and other things you might come up with) hears about the elf hunters, he sends Amberle out to investigate and that’s how they meet.

 

Amberle still becomes the first female chosen. OFC is inspired by this and Amberle trains her to run the gauntlet the next year.

 

The Elessedils get overthrown. Maybe some elves aren’t happy with their rule or maybe one of the other races is trying to conquer the Westland. OFC is a loyal guard and she saves Amberle and protects her from the attackers. Amberle/OFC/Catania is very much welcome for this scenario.

 

Amberle gets separated from her family at a young age (maybe kidnapped by gnomes the night they killed her father?). Years later, OFC finds her and frees her. Maybe OFC’s just doing something good or maybe Amberle’s become a kind of long-lost princess legendary figure among the elves and OFC recognizes her or maybe there’s another reason. My other prompts kind of necessitate OFC be an elf because of how she meets Amberle, but I’m fine with non-elf or half-elf OFC for this prompt or for something not based on one of my prompts.

 

 

 

MCU

 

Natasha/Carol

 

I’m thinking some kind of AU for these two. As canon-compliant or not as you want. Wacky AUs are good, serious AUs are also good. Crack treated seriously and angsty hurt/comfort are two of my favorite genres.

 

Some ideas:

 

Underworld rescue post-Endgame.      

 

Mostly-mundane AU where Nat and Carol aren’t superheroes but aliens still exist and are in contact with Earth. Domestic fluff but they have a pet flerken kind of thing.

 

The Avengers are enslaved or imprisoned in a Sokovia Accords fueled dystopia and Carol comes to Earth and helps them start a revolution.

 

Vampire!Nat survives the Soul Stone because vampires can’t die, but she gets some weird amnesia where she forgets that she ever told anyone she’s a vampire. So now she’s trying to be all sneaky about being a vampire and gets freaked out by Carol doing things that imply she knows.

 

 

 

Original Work

 

Vampire/Vampire, Werewolf/Werewolf

 

Maybe there’s monster hunters they have to deal with.

 

Maybe character A has been a vampire for longer or a werewolf from birth and character B was only recently turned (maybe by character A?), so A has to teach her how to a vampire or werewolf.

 

Maybe they’re teenagers going to a school (boarding school?) for supernatural beings.

 

Maybe one of them wishes she was human and the other helps her see the good in being a vampire or werewolf.

 

As you can see from these prompts, I like stories that focus on how these characters aren’t human, but I’m also fine with just a normal story where the main characters just happen to be vampires or werewolves. I have no preferences on the setting or the ages of the characters. I’m also fine with making these ships into polyships of any size or complexity, though I’d prefer for polyships everyone is a vampire or everyone is a werewolf.

 

 

 

Lord of the Rings

 

Eowyn/Original Female Character

 

I’d be interested in seeing this ship in an arranged marriage/marriage of convenience type scenario where Rohan has some kind of unusual marriage system. Like maybe they do fraternal polyandry, so OFC would have married Eomer’s brother(s) when she married him, except he doesn’t have any so she marries Eowyn. Or maybe they’re supposed to marry their sibling’s spouse’s sibling, and Eomer’s wife only has sisters. Or maybe one of them is trying to find a spouse of a specific social standing and the other is the highest ranking of their potential matches. Something along those lines, with all the pining and awkward flirting and only falling in love after marriage that goes along with arranged marriages.

 

I know this prompt is a kinda hyperspecific, but, as I've said before, please don't feel constrained by prompts.
